What are the versions available for Vanda?
Currently, we have Vanda GP, Vanda Specialist, Vanda Spa, Vanda Oncology, Vanda Pharmacy and Vanda Dental.
What are the features I can look forward for when I buy this software?
Our Vanda Clinical Management System in general, separated into 3 versions; Vanda DIY, Vanda Professional and Vanda Enterprise. Different version offers different features, attending to the needs of the particular requirements.
I have an earlier version of Vanda. Is there an upgrade path to the latest version?
Yes. Upgrades will be issued to customers who have signed up for the Vanda yearly maintenance. Updates are done by our programmers and will be issued to those who have signed up for the maintenance contract. To sign up, do contact us.
How do I get support services after the maintenance contract has expired?

I have a few people in my clinic that need to view the patient queue and patient records at the same time. Does you software provides this capability?
Yes. Vanda can be installed in your LAN (local area network) or WAN (wide area network). All the Vanda client stations can access the Vanda database simultaneously. The patient queue will refresh automatically every 3 seconds. Patient information saved can be shared among all Vanda clients if the users having permission to access it.
I already have an existing medical software. How can I switch to Vanda without re-typing all of my patient records?
Vanda has a data migration tool that can import patient and inventory information from a non Vanda database format. You may wish to contact us to make sure your data format are convertible. Contact us for details.
How do my staff members learn about Vanda?
There are a few ways to learn about Vanda. Vanda’s user interfaces are built base on a common GUI base. This means all the screens are following the standard triggers, which will be easier to hand on. Users can hand on Vanda by referring to the user guide/manual, or watching the Vanda videos. To have a more in depth understanding on Vanda (e.g. Inventory movement, adjustment concept, etc), you can also engage our support officers for a on site or remote user training session. What if I have questions or problems? How long does it take for you to get back to me?
You can call us during office hour. Our office operation hour is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday-Friday (Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays). Alternatively, you may wish to email us the problem you’ve faced. Our email support is open at 7x24 basis.
I have downloaded the setup program to try out the system. When I install it, it asks for username and password. Where do I get the information?
The standard user account for a 30 days trail period is ‘admin’, password ‘admin’. You may wish to view our videos on how to hands on Vanda. You may also contact us for a user manual.

What is the best screen resolution to run Vanda Clinical Management System?
Vanda can work with any screen resolution that equals or is higher than 1024 x 768.
What are the countries where Vanda Clinical Management System would work well?
We strive to make Vanda work in different countries. Currently, Vanda is being deployed in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Bangladesh. It is stated in your website that Vanda Clinical Management System supports other devices? What are those devices?
Yes. Vanda can interface with Topaz electronic signature pad, MyKad, barcode scanners, queue display system, Dymo Thermal Label Printers and FORA/CLEVER CHEK Devices. These devices can connect to Vanda system via USB port or Bluetooth. You can refer to our website or contact us for a demo.
Vanda Case Study
1. Billing
· User have invoiced bill on 1st September 2011, but collection report doesn’t reflect the invoice. How is this so?
This is because, billings made on the 1st of September does not equate to the money being collected on the same day. In an event where payment is made on the 2nd of September instead, it will be reflected in the 2nd of September’s collection report. If user wants to see the bill statements for the 1st of September, user should click on daily billing report instead of daily collection report.
· User have unused and empty invoices due to invoices being auto generated. How to solve this?
There’s no need for panic. Empty invoices can be reused for the same patient. System will always check and prompt user whenever there’s any empty invoices to be reused.
2. Payment & Invoice
· User would like to search invoices by name. How can he/she do so?
Invoices and other reports can be searched via pre-set fields. User can search invoices by patient name, invoice date, invoice number and payment status.
3. Printing Error
· User starts business as per usual like any other working day only to discover that printing of invoices, labels and receipts prompts error. How can this be solved?
First of all, check your devices and printers to make sure they are not in offline state. You may want to print a test page to make sure the hardware is functioning well. You may want to restart your system to try re-initializing the hardware connections.
If you are able to test print successfully from device preferences, please open the Vanda printer preferences to double check the printer setting there. If the setting is correct but printing still encounters error, you may need to contact your system administrator or hardware vendor for assistance.
4. Login
· User turned off system for the weekend. The next working day when she/he comes in, he/she is not able to log in. Why is this so?
First of all, please check whether the PC has been shut down abnormally due to power failure or other reasons. You may wish to restart the system and try login again. If the situation persists, please contact us for assistance.
5. Inventory
· User wants to remove expired inventory from the system. How can it be done?
You can do so by adjusting the expired inventory item’s quantity down to zero. Refer to our online video or user manual for more details.
· User wants to update services and drug lists. How do we solve this?
We at Magicsoft Asia Systems have a dedicated technical team who are able to compile the updates into a script. We will even remote into your system and do the updates to make sure the updates run smoothly.
